0400 Hours: Depart from your hotel or residence in Nairobi (with a picnic lunch box) by road to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

0900 Hours: Arrive at the Maasai Mara. The drive from Nairobi is approximately 5 hours (270 km). Game drives will begin upon entry through the Sekenani Gate. The Maasai Mara is renowned for offering countless opportunities to spot Africa’s famous Big Five: Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino, and Lion. It’s also famous for the annual wildebeest migration.

The Maasai Mara is home to a vast variety of wildlife, including zebras, antelopes, gnus, Oribis, hyenas, giraffes, warthogs, gazelles, hartebeests, hippos, crocodiles, and many others.
